below is a super lengthy post on my labour.. hahas..=x

cldnt slp the whole nite.. dunno issit cos of my tummy or bed dat cause e uneasiness.. den went for breakfast w uncle kk n wife, dad and dear.. went all da way to tuas juz 4 prawn noodles.. my dad's craving for it..-,- they all think its nice except me! maybe cos i had the soup one.. cos was having real bad cough.. went back hm to wait for uncle kk's call.. he fetching us to Thomson Medical Centre.. cos dad haf to help me sign the medisave form and i nid to go for checkup.. went for toilet.. and found blood stains! was abit gan chiong.. ask the nurse abt it.. but she like very "zai" juz tell mi.. maybe going to give birth.. y aint she anxious?! LOL! maybe cos she "xi guan" lers..=x was so worried.. pacing up n down.. wait for quite long.. cos doc was always out.. gt many patients for deliver tat day.. so he keeps going out.. check on e patients etc.. my turn liaos.. den he cfm that i was 2cm dilated when i saw him..o.O he ask mi go take something first.. come back at 5.30pm.. so i did.. had breaded fish fillet first before going back.. LOL! not bad.. wahahahas..

oh btw, before i went to TMC, i had a very strong instinct tat i gonna give birth! so i bath, wash my hair n everything before going.. din bring my hospital bag though.. hahas.. cos confinement canot wash hair for 1 mth!! *arghs!!

was asked to clear my bowels.. den they check my heart beat, baby's heartbeat and everything.. transfer me to delivery suite.. i was damn scared.. was all alone.. dear was not allowed in the observation rm until i went to delivery suite.. i was crying sia.. was so so scared..=x 6pm or so, doc came and check.. i was 3cm dilated.. he burst my waterbag at ard 7pm or 6pm? cant really rem.. he say when he burst the water bag, baby shit green poo.. baby too nervous.. (of coz, mainly bcos mummy's nervous tat affects e baby).. den he say maybe 9pm can give birth liaos.. i was like.. SO FAST? he say my "zi gong" open very fast.. so ok.. wait and wait.. he had too many patients to deliver on tat day lar.. like 6-7 patients including me? was given epidural.. he din wanna allow me to had epidural at first.. he want to c if i can endure the pain first.. but bcos baby shit green poo den he gimme epidural.. IDIOT! heng sia.. so i was given epi.. once i was injected w epi, felt so sehz sehz.. hahas.. dunno wad im doing lidat..=x den i starts to shiver.. feeling cold.. but not the very bad shiver kind.. fall asleep while waiting for doc.. very pek cek cos starts to backache.. hate tat kinda feeling.. keep whining to dear..>.< den 10pm, doc came.. he say can give birth liaos.. i was like.. o.O but the actual timing tat i starts to PUSH, is ard 10.45pm or so.. baby was out at 2304! hehes.. saw his legs.. but i din noe he's out! den dear say smth abt e baby.. den i ask dear.. baby out liaos ar? LOL! he say, ya lar.. doc say very fast delivery.. he even thought haf to c-sec me.. baby's head quite high.. so haf to vacuum.. was really glad.. aftermath, e feeling was TERRIBLE! although i was numb the lower part.. my tummy feels very erm.. "suan".. den my backache getting terrible.. dun like e feeling.. really really dun.. i keep asking doc if ok liaos.. vomitted while doc stitching my vagina.. so u can imagine how terrible i felt.. *eEeeks.. i was totally DRAINED out after giving birth.. dun even haf the energy to talk.. i think im counted USELESS! alot of them say.. wah lau.. u gt epi u still lidat..>.< as i think back, i think quite true.. i think its my nervousness tat drained my energy.. w epi, labour does not seems THAT terrible.. but den again, i NEVER wanna give birth again.. bcos i still feel FRIGHTENED of the whole process.. lols.. dun like e backache feeling.. after give birth, i nid to ask for sleeping pills to slp sia.. cos the backache is so terrible, i cldnt slp.. wah kaos! first time in my life to take sleeping pills.. lols..

family n friends came to visit me.. thanks to ting`er, adelynn and melvin n wife..! hehes.. therefore, time flies very fast.. hehes.. grateful to friends tat they are willing to fork out the time to visit me.. breastfed my baby for the first time! wahahahas.. i din do a very good job of coz.. but he din cry lar.. he's a obedient child! oh did i mention, TMC's confinement food are delicious! lols.. compared to other hospital foods tat ive tasted lar.. wahahahas..=x and, i LOVE their nurses! they're ALL very very kind, helpful and friendly!! i would definitely go back there if i EVER had another birth again.. which is like.. i DON'T THINK SO!! LOL!

i hope im able to go home! waited for doc for sOoo long! finally, he say im able to discharge! was so happy lar.. hehes.. took a cab back.. den when reach my house's carpark, desmond missed call me.. caroline called.. i picked up.. she ask mi whr am i.. i tell her i near home liaos.. she say they at my ward outside.. *dia0z.. she ask me wad to do w the "chicken essence" tat they bought.. LOL! so farnie lar.. thanks again for "trying" to visit me! hehes..=x

thanks caroline! she came the whole afternoon to visit me! hehes.. but i was dead tired after drinking e D.O.M, i fell asleep.. lols.. den she gotta entertain herself..=x but got jabez to entertain her mahs.. hehes..

.today.

i tell u, the worst part is not delivering.. e worst part is CONFINEMENT!! wah piangs.. i damn pek cek can.. canot touch this canot touch that.. *gRrr.. my mum don't allow me to use tap water to wash my hands! *gRrr.. but i still gt use lar.. wahahahas.. when she dunno..=x den im not allowed to drink plain water.. im asked to drink red dates drink.. *gRrr.. bath also muz use special herbs to bath.. canot anyhow bath.. now breast also abit engorge.. although gt pump.. alot of problems lar.. luckily, ive a GREAT gynae! =x cos i can sit comfortable even though my stitches havent heal.. dun feel pain at all! hehes.. only felt smth in e middle of "there" lidat nia.. LOL! he's good i muz say! and cheap! hehes..

im so so glad abt the whole thing.. felt so blessed by deities.. hahas.. reason being,

- coincidently, haf to go for checkup den give birth
- juz nice dear off day
- i opted for 4-bedded rm upon knowing tat TMC only gt one 4 bedded rm.. so i got FREE upgrade to 2-bedded rm paying e price of 4 bedded rm! hehes..
- my ward no. is 527B! dear's birthdate is 27.05.85!
- had a "considered" smooth and fast delivery!
- jabez's healthy!
- my stitches arent THAT bad..
- jabez's very guai! he dun wail alot..

btw, if any preggies out there, please DO talk to ur baby.. tell ur baby's name when he/she's inside ur tummy! bcos when jabez's out, dear called out to jabez.. he actually looked at dear w his big eyes! aftermath, whenever we call jabez, he would respond! its definitely NOT coincident ok.. so yupz! =)

sometimes, i cldnt believe i actually gave birth to him!! wahahahas..=x
