i miss AUSTRALIA.. i miss the peaceful & quiet days.. we stayed @ Connolly to be exact.. not Perth.. very quiet.. especially when it comes to night, we don't even dare to open the curtains for fear of what we might saw outside.. LOL! very dark lar.. hehe.. so everynite, we ended up watching DVDs..=x but it was great because in sg, me and dear hardly had time for each other.. so watching DVDs before we slept, we spend alot of quality time with one another..=)
Day 1
woke up ard 5am and started preparing.. i haber even finish packing our luggage even though all our winter clothes, my mil alr bring to OZ for us..=x still got e undies, necessities & jabez's stuffs ya.. so we ended up ard 7 plus den leave e house.. reach airport ard 8.. check in but realise our visa apply for 3 times! so hab to wait 20-30mins for them to cancel etc.. we kinda panick.. cos our flight was 9am lar.. thank goodness, although we were quite late, we still got bassinet for jabez!
beside us was a couple w a toddler.. they were really nice ppl.. quite comfortable w them..=) jabez got no problem taking off.. i was so goddamn worried cos i read up on e net that e air pressure might cause e ear to be painful blahblahblah.. so i prepare sweets, baby snacks, water, pacifier, milk and wadeva i can think of lar.. lol.. he din want water/milk/pacifier! i was so scared tat sweets/snacks are not gonna be so effective.. but turn out, it wasnt a really big problem for him.. he does throw tantrums here and then.. but everything's pretty ok.. thank goodness that he really behave himself.. slept in e bassinet for 2hrs and shld be longer but bcos we are reaching, hab to get him wake up.. lol..

took cab to Connolly whr mil&bf rent a house there.. cost AUD70-80 to reach there! piangs! interior was mainly white.. very clean.. mil&bf reached there on 4th.. so they more or less bought the groceries.. but still, after putting our stuffs, we went to Currambine Marketplace to see if we need anything.. their supermarket was Woolsworth.. nothing much.. bought snacks..=x we need to walk like 10-15mins to reach there.. e distance is ok but the steep slope from the house to the road is horrendous! lol.. i was outta breathe when i reach.. haha! i envy jabez so much at e moment!

Day 2
we took bus to Joondalup.. there were 4 big supermarkets there.. namely, "Coles", "K-mart", "Target" & "Woolworth".. for "Target" & "K-mart", they sell other stuffs too.. like our Giant.. but their apparels are much higher standard.. designs that are around Topshop that kind.. prices affordable.. not expensive at all! shorts that can be found in Topshop for like 80 plus bucks can be found in either "Target" or "K-mart" for only AUD$24.99! i dunno their quality how lar.. but designs are around e same lo.. i din bought much.. cos felt kinda rush.. mil&bf waiting, not good mahs.. bought 2 pairs of bras & a top nia.. dear bought DVDs! 3 movies in a DVD for only AUD$15.99 i think.. but of cos not e latest ones lar.. i check e price of Nintendo DS Lite @ Target.. damn malu! http://www.target.com/ is actually for US site.. not Australia site! haha.. so the price is not what i expected.. AUD199 there.. so bo hua lo.. nv buy.. SAD! i couldnt find ANY hello kitty stuffs there.. ka0x.. but i NEARLY bought a LG pink fone.. for AUD$99 only!! but dear don't let me buy! *arghs*

Day 3
took bus den train-ed to Fremantle! same as their bus, the train got big spaces for BICYCLE/wheelchairs/prams! ya, u can bring the whole bicycle onto e train! COOL! haha..

tried their highly raves Cicerello Fish 'n' Chips.. it's a big disappointment! it's too oily and tasteless! but their cakes are *yummy! tried their Bailey's Irish Cheesecake & Chocolate Mudpie.. *w0otz* but dun try their beverages ya.. their tea is lipton tea bag and cuppuccino is too diluted..
we sat outside of e 'restaurant' enjoying e breeze while eating Fish 'n' Chips w beer.. then there's seagulls.. jabez saw liao very happy keep smiling.. hehe.. then there's this ultra big bird.. dunno wad issit called.. e outside of e toilet so beautiful lo.. got aquarium one! must be bery exp.. walk to their beach.. e wind blow.. super shuang.. very cooling.. hehe.. so cold until i need to wear my mil's fur coat.. haha..
stuffs in Fremantle is NOT CHEAP! dun c like ulu ulu.. super duper exp lo.. went MYERS.. their stuffs damn exp! their range is AUD100 plus & above.. like our Isetan.. but definitely wayyyy more exp.. only bought undies there.. wahahaha.. den we went into this second hand shop.. it's really really bery bery cheap lo.. dear bought 2 long sleeve BRAND-NEW for AUD$0.50 nia! LOL! but end up he nv wear la.. give uncle jerry..-,- den i bought a bag for AUD$4.. very retro and i love it alot! hehe.. even saw a Marc Jacobs pink bag! but cant put alot of things.. below AUD$10 nia!
went into this adult shop.. scare jabez canot go in.. UNDERAGE lar! haha.. nv check leh.. haha.. im amaze w e stuffs sold inside.. got nurse uniform somemore! and they sell porn magazines openly! *omgz* maybe i suaku.. cos nv been into that kinda shop before..=x
Day 4
finally Perth! long stretch of street.. with lotsa shops.. i saw SUPRE! u cant imagine how HIGH i felt lar.. lol.. so i came out w 3 printed tees and one top.. bought jabez 1 tee, 1 vest & 2 shoes @ Pumpkin Patch! they're having sales! also got shirley's prince a top.. hope he can wear..=x

walk along e streets.. cross e road and we are in Chinatown! i saw this very cute "advertisement" and toilet! haha.. and i also saw that they are really very open! the way they advertise their shop very creative&funny lo ! it really makes me 大开眼界!
mil&bf wanted to retreat early.. me&dear wanted to continue shopping.. but when i went down and saw them, i decided to go back Joondalup to shop! so it was Target & K-mart again! lol.. this time round, i shop like crazy! i got myself 2 pairs of working pants, 1 black jeans, 2 tops.. dear got himself like 4-5 tees.. one for ahboy.. den bought a pants for hui.. but i think i bought e wrong size for him! =( bought ting a pair of black shorts.. hope she likes it lar..=)
we shop until we dunno e time! thursday was e only day that they open till 9pm! e rest of e day, it was 5 or 5.30pm! EARLY RIGHT?! ya lor! so we shop n shop n shop! we forgot tat we might have missed e last bus! jitao PANICK can! so we check and LUCKILY, e next bus is e LAST BUS! and we gotta wait for 45mins! super duper goddamnit bcos it was so freaking cold tat day as it was RAINING! chao turtle! lol.. look so pathetic.. me&dear couldnt stop luffing at our own's 无奈! haha.. like we were deserted in e streets lidat.. muahahas.. we cracked lotsa jokes.. had so much laughters..=)

so so lucky that by the time it reach our stop, rain stopped.. but we were scared.. cos e streets were so dark&quiet and we need to walk quite a distance to reach our house.. crossing e roads especially! very worried.. thank god we managed to reach our house safe and sound.. mil was worried for us.. cos so dark alr and we're still not back.. den she call dear's hp off.. cos low batt.. lol.. btw, e sky turns dark at 6pm there!
reached home, dinner was already prepared.. had our meals.. DVDs again.. hehe..

Day 5
stayed home e whole day.. we decided to take a break from all e shopping and really relaxed.. i took a nap in e afternoon.. but instead of feeling refresh, both me and dear felt super tired for e day! so we conclude, shopping makes us fresher! haha.. so ard 4plus, we decided to go to Currambine Marketplace again.. to check out their cinema! no intend to watch any movies.. just to walk around.. just me and dear.. we had our 二人世界! it meant alot to us..=)
Day 6

it's our family day! totally on our own w jabez.. mil&bf had their own prog.. at first it was planned that me&dear went out on our own without jabez.. but i think twice and decided to bring jabez along w us.. i dun wanna shop w no peace.. keep thinking nid to rush hm alr cos ppl looking after jabez.. so yupz, made e decision to bring him along! and also, it was actually a holiday for mil&bf and now, we became like intruders! haha.. so decided to give them 二人世界!

went Fremantle again.. cos i wanna see what's Fremantle Market lar.. we went Fremantle that day but Fremantle Market only opens on Fri,Sat,Sun&Mon.. they sell all sorts of things but at exorbitant prices! totally put off by the pricing! so i din bought anything there..

as we were going to take train, saw 2 blacks quarrelling, den dunno how come become 1 white and 1 black.. i tink e white chup ji ka or what lar.. den e white damn hum.. he scold e black.. den stop.. walk to e center of e road, start scolding again.. he see the black walk towards him, he walk to e other side of e road.. den start scolding.. den e black buey tahan.. run over and one punch on his face.. *ouch*! e white jitao fainted canot wake up.. lol.. smart alec lor! haha..
wasted trip for Fremantle.. so went Perth again.. this time round, to get e souvenirs for friends.. and mainly for dear's clothings! he got himself 2 tees from "Jays Jays"! i think there are still lotsa worth buying stuffs in there but bcos we're running outta time, cant really shop.. i bought 2 silk material boxers for jingying&michelle @ Myers.. uber cute lor! powerpuff girls one! haha.. also had last minute shopping @ Pumpkin Patch! hehe.. bought another top for jabez and a skirt for sherly.. i couldnt resist their sales lar! especially their winter clothes! too bad sg is toooooo hot for them! =x
Day 7
woke up.. took cab to airport.. this taxi uncle who drove us there, he's a hongkie.. he so funny can! he tell us e lives in Australia.. he say he usually works from home.. meaning if got ppl call for cab, den he will work.. if not, he will just stay @ hm and wait for fone calls.. he tell us he's 60! but i swear that he looks like 40 or early fifties!! he say that's due to no stress.. living there is really relax.. it's bcos of the slow pace that's y he wanna leave hongkong for australia.. den before he was a cabbie, he work in a hospital.. he finishes his job fast and ppl told him he is not doing his job properly.. bcos he work too fast.. later will kenna sack sooner.. cos if he work too fast, hospital dun need so many ppl den they will haf no job.. den they tell him, to follow them.. no nid work so fast.. slower.. he say one day drink 6 cups of coffee.. alot of breaks.. LOL! total opposite frm us.. haha.. many said that Australians dun like Chinese.. but i think as long as you follow their trend, their culture, everything will be fine.. anyway, i was really surprise w what he say lar..

reach sg.. very sad.. really 依依不舍.. i keep telling dear i very sianx of tml.. nid to go wrk.. lol.. we din really went to alot of places.. to be exact, just Joondalup, Fremantle and Perth.. but i still haber finish them!!
i miss the super duper steep slopes that we need to walk out to wherever we need to go..
i miss the cold weather..
i miss the everyday shopping..
i miss the quiet nights..
i miss the sumptuous meals cooked by uncle jerry everyday..
at first, i was really bored by the lifestyle.. cos imagine you everyday wake up @ 8am.. prepare and reach train station ard 11am.. so when you started shopping, it's ard 12pm.. and at 5pm, everywhere started closing.. so everyday, u only can go ONE place.. super boring.. but as days passed, when it comes to night, it's really relaxing lor.. e night becomes longer, so me and dear had much time together..
for them, even though they have really cheap items.. like AUD$10 per piece, you don't see ppl ransacking! haha.. unlike sg lo.. and the ppl there are really nice & friendly! everywhere u go, ppl are smiling.. when u board a bus, e bus driver will smile and say, "hi, how are you?" are stuffs lidat.. like know very long liao.. lol.. den they have timetable for their buses/trains.. as beef is uber cheap in Australia, we everyday eat beef can! lol.. but their eggs are exp.. 12 eggs for AUD$3 plus.. lol.. some things are cheap but some are not.. shoes especially.. i couldnt find any worth buying shoes at all.. and bags.. not cheap..
i won't wanna lived there.. but i do wanna go back once in awhile whenever i feel stress here..=)
