i first tried Ellenborough Market Cafe was during my orientation.. we had lunch then.. i super dig the pandan roll inside w shredded coconut.. it was so different to the ones i bought @ bangawan solo to satisfy my cravings.. it is just different! haha.. so one fine day, dear came to fetch me frm work and we decided to go EMC for dinner again! i thought why not since i got staff price and if dun have, can use the discount by Feed At Raffles.. end up.. both also canot use ar!! staff must make reservation first.. and dunno when.. F.A.R seems to change the privileges.. UOB also dun haf!! they say cos it's a thursday!! hmm... and they say only entitle for lunch!! =(( but ok lar.. it's nice!! dinner is @ $36++..
the impression i have for EMC is they serve peranakan food.. which in other words, mostly local food.. so i have never ever thought of visiting EMC.. except the well-known durian paste!! but den.. i was wrong!!
at the salad counter.. trying to mix the caesar salad!! it's a cool idea.. since we could input the amt of cheese, vege, dressings etc according to our liking!! and bcos we can mix ourselves.. it seems fun for me!! LOL!! fall in love w e salad!! im still craving for it.. we had 2 rounds of it ok!!
sharkfin was ok.. although they only give 1 small pc of sharksfin.. but how much u paying for leh? somemore got marinated abalone.. although i dun really like e marinated abalone.. haha!! but the price u're paying for.. it's very good liao..
everything in this plate are my fav!! the salmon is fresh.. i super love the fried rolls.. e yam rolls.. e grill fish with e cheesy sauce!! yummy!!
the prawns are not very fresh.. not tangy.. but the crab has lotsa meat!!
baby lobster is no good.. the meat already "lan" liaos..=(
kueh pie ti!! this is a MUST MUST TRY!! very crispy.. i had like 4 of it!! this is super yummilicious and i swear u couldnt find it in any other buffets!! of cos other den peranakan buffets la.. im talking abt hotel buffet spreads k!! hehehehe..
a waste that i didnt take pics of the 九层糕 and durian paste.. e highlights!! durian paste must try!! cos it is cold, very smooth.. e sweetness is just right.. i think EMC buffet spread is veryvery suitable for more mature age group.. like my mother..=x my mil also loves e spread there.. shall bring my mama go one day!! =) dear on the other hand say he will not go there again..=(
anyway, overdue pics.. had a haircut somewhere in feb.. not a drastic haircut.. just the fringe bahs.. but jason die die want make temp perm for me.. although i was already rushing for time!! like my temp perm but too bad.. it's temp!!

we caught "Alice in Wonderland" @ 2.05pm with krissy and benjamin at Downtown East..
dear was totally bored with the movie.. while i am totally engross in it.. haha!! i LOVE movies with lotsa magical effects.. i love fairytales.. hehe.. so i super like this movie!! but dear think this movie kan bo liao.. wahahaha..
tml need to go back work.. we have wedding showcase!! hear them talk abt it makes me wanna get married again!! it had been my dream to hold my wedding @ fullerton.. but it will nv happen..=(((
monday is me and dear's 4th year anniversary!! we're going BATAM for a short getaway.. rather, to buy all e cheap cheap necessities back to SG lar.. we're poor ppl you see!! we're aunties and uncles generation liao mahs.. haha!! i hope we will have good "harvest" this time!! the last time we went BATAM was to celebrate my 18th birthday.. dear wanted to give me a surprise but he didnt plan it very well.. duhs!!
