RAINBOW CAKE finally!

I finally baked the rainbow cake with shir and steph on Sunday nite!

Ta-dah!

The moment when we cut the cake.. It was indescribable.. It was like a dream come true for me!! Firstly, I tried baking cake 3-4 times never once succeed.. Either it tested weird or the texture is wrong.. Secondly, this time with cream!! Never did that before!! Plus it does look difficult.. Cos it looks beautiful!! When I first saw it on instagram, saw somebody post the pic, I thought it was just photo edit.. LOL!! And when I saw more n more different version, I know it's real and somewhere is selling it!! Then Yvette told me TCC is selling per piece at $9.50 she wanted to buy but out of stock! So it kept me hanging there till one day my colleagues was talking abt baking cupcakes.. And I remembered about this!! I thought it would be a great idea to make it for the kids birthday!!

Arranged to meet up with Yvette and Zach to bake.. Last min Zach couldn't make it plus it's a Father's Day so I thought y not just change date.. But my mummies frens was talking abt meeting up and I show them this pic and say I so gonna bake this they also ok with it.. So steph says why not today? Even though I say it's gonna be late at night they also ok!! So ya we went ahead!!

It was alot of work.. Thankfully I have they two around if not I dunno wad time den can complete!! Plus after agreed to meet up with them, the giddiness come back to haunt me.. 2nd or 3rd time in a week already.. Plus I feel sooooo nausea.. Keep wanna vomit.. I really very worried.. So after the baking session, I went to SGH.. End up doc say is ear infection.. Ask me follow up 2 weeks later for better check up.. He did my blood test everything was ok.. I only reached hm at 7 in the morning.. WTH!!

Looks uber pretty but taste super awful!!!! Toooooo sweet like fondant!!! Omg!!! Totally inedible!!! :( I think the sugar is too much shld cut off.. I guess I shall just buy it off shelve from TCC for their birthday or what.. HAHAHAHA!!

Although it tasted awful, but i didn't care about the taste.. I am more concern about how it looks!! At least I can take picture of the beautiful cake that I make!! The moment we cut open the cake, I am practically JUMPING with joy!! And I really JUMPED!! LOL!! Looking at the photo of the cake already makes me happy..:X Sounds like an idiot? I'm not!! Just sense of achievement!! 我的要求不高!! Small little things can make me happy!!

To end this blog post, i have to pen down this altough very unrelated from above.. is that both jabez & shyanne at the age of 6 & 4 respectively, when every children are so happy to see fireworks, they are crying when they saw it during Co-opalicious event.. *pengs*!! Die laugh me!!
