been very very busy lately with our new house.. anyway, don't have the "kick" to update blog recently..
we have more or less confirmed on the renovation of our house.. havent started reno.. cos i keep change here change there.. as usual..=x but sad to say, it was not a design of my dream house.. bcos that wouldnt be practical.. i dun wan to end up spending even more for maintenance, or having it to change at a later part of time.. i wanted to hack the whole wall and extend the kitchen, build an island top and had glass all over the kitchen.. but if dear did heavy cooking the glass will wipe like siao! i wanted a built in dining table with a built in cushion seat.. nearly fulfilled for this but ended up dear saw a dining table that he liked and it was in a package so we got it..
we got the following as a package from Cellini @ Furniture Mall.. it was considered a steal!
total damage for the whole package that consists of tv console + coffee table + full leather 3+1 sofa + dining table = $5050! i ask for discount discount and more discount! very pissed with the saleswoman from tradehub21! the first day we went she told me all in was $3998.. i was super happy cos super great deal rite all in leh! so we purposely travel all the way to punggol and back to jurong the very nxt day after checking on the measurements.. think she advise on the WRONG set.. this is flow series more exp.. so she tell me if i want, she give me discount for tv console at 15% off.. so it would be around $1500.. i was super disappointed.. i called up Cellini @ IFC but a super rude lady picked up and ask me to come down if i am REALLY interested.. i told her i went before already just need her to refresh my memory on the price.. she rudely tell me, oh really? where are we located den? DAMNIT! didnt know ParkMall also has Cellini if not we would have went there as well! but anw, the salesguy name Shawn is super duper helpful and super duper nice! i think he's new? haha! cos actually.. if we want the tv console as well, only need to topup $1200.. and they had it printed black and white, display big big.. also mention there's 5% discount if using Maybank CC.. tradehub21 don't have still con me say give me 15% discount! stupid china woman! also nv mention certain CC got discount! luckily we really shop hard! LOL! so in the end, it was a saving of $448 for us! =)
and today finally settle on our aircon after much consideration.. we were considering,
1) daikin
2) mitsubishi starmex
3) panasonic
ended up with mitsubishi starmex system 3 inverter cos i still like the name more.. LOL! anyway, we got it from gain city @ $3119 inclusive of 5 years warranty upgrade to 1/2" armflex and 22 copper.. we were so tempted to get from AllBest @ IMM initially.. they were selling at $2750!! not inclusive of 5 years warranty but 1/2" armflex and 22 copper dunno have anot.. but after reading lotsa reviews from renotalk.com, the reviews abt the aftersales service is quite bad.. i actually seen it with my own eyes as well.. how they treat the other customers.. so to rest our mind, we settle at GC lor.. btw, prices for aircon increased the last time we saw 2 months ago.. at that point of time, everywhere was selling $2799.. now most shops are selling $2900+ and above.. being someone so noob.. i didnt know that aircon price increases instead of decreases! =x
we still have alot of things to buy..... getting really stress up with all the instalments and monthly bills.. hais.. i hope we can cope it.. guess have to depend on water and bread for the next 5 years..=(
things still need to get -
1) hob & hood
2) basin for kitchen & MBR toilet
3) fridge
4) washer
5) TV (optional cos mum already got us a LCD but i want a SMART TV! =p)
6) dryer (optional)
7) curtains
8) the kids room
please let me tio 4D lar guanyinma.. let me clear all the bills and i will guai guai after that.. will start saving!! i already "wake up" liao!! HELP!! LOL!!
